Why should I book directly through this site rather than through AirBnB or VRBO?
When booking through other platforms, the fees can be as high as 20%+. Using this site, it's a win/win for both of us. The nightly rates are slightly higher to cover credit card transaction fees, but significantly lower overall cost than booking through another platform.
There is a $1500 security deposit associated with my reservation. When will I get that back?
We do authorize $1500 on your credit card to cover any damages to the property that may arise. This will be taken off of your credit card / refunded 7 days after your checkout. This gives our cleaning team time to go through the property after your departure and check it out. It is not our intention to charge for any small items and this is really in place as an accountability tool. We are laid back so long as you take care of our property and we want you to relax and enjoy your time!
Is your credit card processor safe?
Yes, we use Stripe! This is a very reputable credit card processor that is used by many online retailers. This website is also built by Guesty, which is a very reputable software for short term rental hosts.
What is your refund policy?
We understand that things change. If you cancel more than 60 days out, you will get a full refund less credit card processing fees. If you cancel more than 30 days out, you will get a 50% refund. Inside 30 days, cancellations are non-refundable. However, please contact us. It does have a significant impact on us if we are unable to rebook the dates.
My dates aren't yet available on the calendar and I want to book a long ways out. What can I do?
We currently have a 9 month booking window. If you are looking to book further out, please contact us via email or phone and we can handle your request directly.
